As the popularity of the iPad grows, IT departments in many companies have grown more interested in the possibility of having the iPad in their office. Businesses are surprised with the security of the operating system and the ability to run business related apps. The early adopters of the iPad are health care and retail businesses.
I think it is very interesting that business are considering iPad's in the office. This technology will allow workers to become more flexible allowing workers to move about with the ability to be networked with their co-workers. Companies can gain a competitive advantage by using this innovative technology
I agree. Much can be gained by using items such as the I-pad in the work environment. I-pads are more convenient lap tops. Lap tops have already proven to be extremely useful in the work environment, allowing others to continually stay connected to quickly make necessary changes. There is no telling as to whats next, but I feel that the I-pad is the type of innovation that would be incorporated into this next technology.
